About Us
Welcome to Cimarron Inn & RV, your home base in the heart of northern New Mexico. Nestled in the historic Santa Fe Trail village of Cimarron, our property is just minutes from Philmont Scout Ranch and within an hour’s scenic drive of the Enchanted Circle—home to Eagle Nest, Red River, Taos, and Angel Fire. It’s an ideal and affordable lodging option for exploring the beauty of the surrounding area, offering a relaxed and convenient stay for travelers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. We offer 14 well-appointed guest rooms, including single queen, double queen, and king rooms, plus two larger units with multiple beds and kitchenettes. For extended stays or group travel, our four-bedroom, two-bath house provides a spacious, private option. All guest rooms feature keyless smart lock entry for seamless access, along with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, heating, and Roku Smart TV. Our intimate 12-site RV park offers full hookups with 30 & 50 amp service, water, sewer, Wi-Fi, and access to a guest bathhouse. Please note RV size is limited due to the park’s compact layout. Picnic tables are located throughout the property for guest use.

Choose from our many options; sure to please anyone in your group or family. All guests rooms feature high speed Wifi, microwaves, coffee pots, mini refrigerators, and keyless entry smart locks for an express check in experience. RV spaces feature full hookups including with water, sewer, and power (30 or 50 amps).

Our RV Park
Stay, relax, and enjoy the ease of travel at our 12-site RV park, designed with every type of traveler in mind. Each site includes 30 & 50 Amp power, water service, and full sewer hookups. All spaces in our intimate RV park are back in spaces, so we are limited in our ability to host larger RV's.

Have questions? We've got answers. Find everything you need to know before your stay.
How do I check in?
24 hrs prior to your arrival, you will receive an email and SMS Text Message with your unit number and access code. No need to check in at the desk or pick up keys. Simply arrive, enter your code, and relax.
I don’t do email or won’t have access to it. What should I do?
No problem! We text your access information as well.
Are Pets Allowed?
We do allow dogs under 50 lbs in select rooms. A $10 per night fee will be applied to your stay total.
What is the Parking Situation?
Parking is complimentary on our outdoor surface lot. No reserved spaces, first come first served.
What are the check in and check out times?
Check‑in begins at 4:00 PM; check‑out is by 11:00 AM. Early check in and late check outs may be available upon request and may be subject to additional fees.
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations are fully refundable up to 5 days before arrival. If canceled 1–4 days before, a $50 fee applies. All reservations become non-refundable 24 hrs prior to arrival.
If there is no one onsite, is the property safe?
Our local team visits the property on a daily basis. Cimarron is a very safe community, but to give our guests added peace of mind, we have excellent outdoor lighting as well as a robust exterior surveillance system. Our guest’s safety is a top priority!
If I need something, how can you help?
Our customer service team is standing by via call or text for any of your needs. We can arrange for our local team to assist you if needed. Additionally, we provide a self-serve Guest Amenity Room on-site where guests can use their access code to retrieve extras like towels, coffee, pillows, soaps,and more.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We provide several different discounts for guests who book directly with us! Ask about our length of stay discounts, military and first responder discounts, group discounts, and more!
What amenities are included with my room?
All guest rooms come with high speed complimentary WiFi, coffee pot, mini fridge, microwave, and heating. Due to the high elevation and mild summers, our rooms do not come with AC.
